Over the years I have been experimenting with mixed media acrylics which and have begun to use gels and mediums in my own unique way. Being a natural paint dabber, I’ve also learnt to handle acrylics more akin to oil paint to maximise the retention and build of interesting marks and effects within the final piece. More recently I have found that aspects of my painting development has directly fed into my mosaic subject and development.
