I’m currently working towards the build of exhibitions which also fit with artist talks/presentations on topics of the great personal interest such as Art and Wellbeing, The Environment and Art Education.

'Against the Tide'

This series of oils can be complemented by a talk which examines the environmental influences which have led me from realism to smudgy impresssions: a journey against the tide of Contemporary Art and Education. 

The talk can cover my personal challenges. How secondary practices and the Founding of Go Create became strategies to manage and contain complexity as well as the strategies to the jigsaw.

The exhibition lends itself to discussions on Art Education. Personal Development through Art. The Artist Identity as well as Creative Career and Study Advice

The 'Nature of Nature'

An Exhibition featuring sculptural works and acrylic paintings along the theme of Amazing Nature plus a talk or booklry themed 'The Nature Of Wellness'.

The talk reflects on the serenity of my artwork in the context of family turbulence and as a sibling of someone with the most severe of mental health conditions. Over the years this has led me to research the condition.As a close family member I've experienced the impact on families and become aware of issues surrounding mental health and the impact of policies.

My artwork elludes to my own take on mental health.

There's also potential to run this alongside a series of environmental arts and crafts workshops to support wellbeing.
