| Kirsty graduated in Art, Design & Marketing from Lancaster University in 1994 and then worked in through-the-line advertising for several years. In 1999, she made a career change and began to employ this knowledge in the pursuit of her own fine art, media and environmental interests.
Kirsty first discovered her cartooning skills at the age of 26 when her paintings began to take on an animated and overly colourful appearance. She decided to split the two interests at this point and has continued to practice both disciplines since. Her painting has always remained very stop/start in its development and is heavily influenced by steps in her book and film progression and her environmental thinking. Today Kirsty continues to work as a full-time visual artist on environmental book and art collections. For reference of paintings, click here.
